Imagine yourself in an autorickshaw with the nonchalent driver sitting with one leg up on the drivers seat and chewing pan and chugging along Aurobindo marg with his meter not working as usual. Menacing looking Delhi Metro cranes almost falling on your head have vanished now thankfully but then the dreaded question. Yeh hoj kaj bilej hain kahan???? If his meter is working by a chance in a million he would continue driving on till you see the wonderful desert in Jaiselemer!!! Otherwise here are some tips If you are coming in from the IIT flyover side towards Aurobindo marg then turn left at the corner of Aurobindo Market and drive straight in for atleast a kilometre. If you are coming from AIIMS towards IIT then at Aurobindo traffic signal take a U turn and then left.If you are coming from Nehru Place,Saket,Malaviya Nagar ( turn left at ShahpurJat) or turn right if coming from Defence colony,Sirifort in front of the the Hauz Khas Police station road and drive towards Aurobindo market.
Small advise ... unless you are carrying all your "kitchen ka bartan" or your kitchen sink stop at the parking barricade outside the village and walk the last few hundred feet.Its good for health and ease our parking woes. Try not to curse him loudly and part with some extra money which the autorickshaw driver who would have already conned you in the last half kilometre to this wonderful village.
